On July 7th we had our very first SS Cygnets meet up!
For those that don’t know, Tee has been mentoring a group of authors of Facebook for the past few years called the SS Cygnets. The private event with her UK members was an unforgettable afternoon that Tee will treasure forever.
This very special gathering brought together both acclaimed and budding authors that Tee mentors for an afternoon of inspiration, networking, relationship building and most importantly, support through a group of like minded people.
The meetup provided a unique opportunity for attendees to interact directly with Tee and gain
valuable insights into her writing journey. After an hour of mingling amongst each other, everyone settled in for a Q&A with Tee. The Cygnets were able to discuss some of their biggest worries and concerns in the writing journey.
The Canary Wharf location, The Cocktail Club, with its modern and cosmopolitan atmosphere, perfectly mirrored the contemporary romance themes that Tee often weaves into her novels. Everyone engaged in lively discussions about character development, plot intricacies, and the evolving landscape of the romance genre – while enjoying some canapes and cocktails (of course there were margaritas on tap!!)
The meet-up was a huge success and we were so excited to hear these amazingly talented people
talk about renewed inspiration and a deeper appreciation for the art of romance fiction. The meetup stands as a reminder of the power of the romance world being able to bring people together, bridging gaps and sparking conversations.
